[Translit] participates in "Manuscripts don’t burn" 2025: book auction and fundraising campaign for supporting students and scholars in exile.

Launched by Tamizdat Project, a book auction and a donation campaign started this week to raise funds for at least 30 students and scholars displaced by war or repressions in their home countries, as well as those in the U.S. whose education, careers and lives have been affected by recent changes in American immigration policies.

In 2023, first fundraising campaign and book auction already featured hundreds of émigré first editions and books signed or inscribed by contemporary authors. We bring together prominent authors in exile committed to help today’s refugees, much as we wish no such effort was ever necessary: Svetlana Alexievich, Tomas Venclova, Polina Barskova, Elena Kostyuchenko and dozens of other world-famous authors, who have signed or inscribed their books for our cause. Please buy these books and join our effort to help the young generation of scholars when they most need it!

Among other wonderful items, you may find few last russophone issues of [Translit], still printed in Russia and signed by Pavel Arsenev, chief-editor throughout the 18 years history of this independent publishing.

Developing social channels based on exchanging a single message isn’t exactly new, of course. Back in 2014, the “Yo” app was launched with the sole purpose of enabling users to send each other the greeting “Yo.” A Telegram channel is used for various purposes, from sharing helpful content to implementing a business strategy. In addition, you can use your channel to build and improve your company image, boost your sales, make profits, enhance customer loyalty, and more. Read now Those being doxxed include outgoing Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, Chung and police assistant commissioner Joe Chan Tung, who heads police's cyber security and technology crime bureau. Your posting frequency depends on the topic of your channel. If you have a news channel, it’s OK to publish new content every day (or even every hour). For other industries, stick with 2-3 large posts a week.
