حتماً تاکنون اصطلاح روزنامه‌های کثیرالانتشار بارها به گوش تان خورده است. بد نیست بدانید در کنار این نوع روزنامه‌ها، انواع دیگری نیز به شرح زیر وجود دارد:
۱- روزنامه ی صغیر الانتشار: این روزنامه پس از تنها یکی - دو ماه انتشار، تعطیل می‌شود می‌رود پی کارش.
۲- روزنامه ی قلیل الانتشار: روزنامه ی کثیرالانتشاری که دست کم به تعداد پیام‌های مردمی‌اش شمارگان (تیراژ سابق) دارد!
۳- روزنامه ی قلیل الاعتبار: روزنامه‌ای که چاپ هر «خبر» در آن، فقط یک روز اعتبار دارد و بین چاپ خبر و تکذیبش (در همان صفحه با همان حروف) حداکثر یک شماره فاصله است!
