(وكان منا المتشهد في قيامه) أي لما قام رسول الله ﷺ من ركعتين وسها عن التشهد، فتشهد بعضهم في قيامه في الركعة الثالثة ولم يعلموا أن القيام يسقط التشهد جلوسا وذكرا.
