BE Collective has successfully completed the design for the heritage preservation and additions to Africa Hall in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia. The landmark building #Africa Hall, now the headquarters of the UN Economic Commission for Africa, is famous for hosting the adoption of the Organization of African Unity (#OAU) Charter. BE Collective, supported by Conrad Gargett as principal consultant, identified structural issues and proposed solutions that respect the building's heritage while meeting modern standards. This project follows their work on the Australian Embassy in Addis Abeba.
