Hence, Islamic legislation established sufficient protective guarantees and immunities that would prevent the influence of the instruments of demolition and vandalism to tear the society apart, thus placing an impenetrable fence that prevents its structure from cracking and its pillars from being shaken, at the level of the family, the society, the country and even the world as a whole.
Therefore, Allah commanded the Muslims when they have a dispute to refer to the Book and the Sunnah; the Most High said, "If you dispute about anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and more beneficial" (The Women: 59), and said: "And in whatever you have differences then the judgment is with Allah, My Lord, in Him I trust and to Him I turn" (The Consultation: 10), and said "And We did not send down to you the Book except that you might make clear to them in what they differed, and as guidance and mercy for a people who believe" (The Palm Tree: 64).
[Allah] also commanded them [Muslims] to have good manners, good dealings and mercy to one another. The Most High said: "So it is by a mercy from Allah that you are kind to them. Had they been hard and hard-hearted, they" (Al-Imran: 159) and His wish that they be endowed with an attitude of patience and forgiveness, far from error, the Almighty said: "And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not quarrel, lest you become discouraged and your strength fail you, and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with those who are patient" (The Booty: 46), and said: "On behalf of the people, and Allah loves those who do good" (Al-Imran: 133-134).
And to achieve the purpose of gathering in the word, Islamic legislation came to tighten social, family and religious ties, so it ordained connection through kinship, clarified the rights of husbands, wives, parents, sons and daughters, and ordained kindness for all relatives, neighbors, the needy, the kinsman, said the Most High: "And hasten to receive forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the righteous who spend [in the cause of Allah] in ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who forgive people, and Allah loves benefactors" (The Women: 36).
And in the hadith: "None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself".
And the Islamic legislation enjoined cooperation in good, as the Almighty said: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and transgression" (The Well-Served Table: 2), and forbade evil speaking: "And tell My servants to say what is best. Truly, Satan is deceiving them. Verily, Satan is to man a clear enemy" (The Night Journey: 53).
And the Islamic Legislation forbade drifting behind rumors and gossip intended to divide the ranks [among Muslims]. The Almighty said, "O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people through ignorance and turn, because of what you have done, repentant" (Al-Hujurat: 6). And, therefore, the believers are warned against malicious campaigns by various instruments and methods that are aimed at dispersing the word and pitting one against another in society, just as Allah has made a series of acts of worship to be performed collectively, such as this gathering today in Arafat, and such as your Friday gathering and prayers in congregation, and among what leads to the gathering is what was provided by the Islamic legislation on social solidarity, payment of zakat, living expenses, donations and alms; the Most High said: "O you who have believed, spend what We have provided for you before the day comes when there will be no sale, friendship or intercession, and the disbelievers are the wrongdoers" (The cow: 254).
