ابزارSynVisio به شما امکان می‌دهد تا نتایج McScanX، یک نرم افزار محبوب برای تشخیص هم‌راستایی (Synteny) و هم‌خطی (Collinearity) ژن‌ها را بررسی کنید و تصاویر با کیفیتی برای انتشار در مقالات خود ایجاد نمایید. ابزار SynVisio برای اجرا به دو فایل نیاز دارد:
1- فایل gff ساده‌شده که به عنوان ورودی برای جستجوی McScanX مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است. 2- فایل collinearity که توسط McScanX به عنوان خروجی برای همان جستجو تولید شده است.
