روش MALDI-TOF مخفف Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Time-Of-Flight می باشد و به عنوان یک تکنیک تحلیلی پیشرفته در طیف‌سنجی جرمی است که برای شناسایی و تحلیل مولکول‌های زیستی مانند پروتئین‌ها، پپتیدها، DNA و سایر ترکیبات آلی با وزن مولکولی بالا استفاده می‌شود.
این روش به دلیل دقت بالا، سرعت و حساسیت زیاد، به طور گسترده در تحقیقات زیستی، پزشکی و صنعتی کاربرد دارد.
