وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته. إن كان من مات قد تمكّن من صيامه، ولكنه لم يصم فالأفضل لأوليائه أن يصوم عنه ويبرأ بذلك الميت، وذلك لورود الحديث الصحيح عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال:( من مات وعليه صيام صام عنه وليه). رواه البخاري ومسلم. وإن لم يتمكّن من الصيام لمرض أو عذر فإنه لا يصام عنه ولا يطعم، وليس عليه شيء. والظاهر أنه بمرور سنة قد تمّكن من الصيام، ولكنه لم يصم وعليه فإنه يستحب لأوليائه أن يصوموا عنه. والله تعالى أعلم.
