عن أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه قال: العمل، في ليلة القدر والصدقة، والصلاة، والزكاة.. أفضل من ألف شهر). (الدر المنثور: ٨/ ٥٦٨)
قال ابن باديس: بيّن هذا الأثر- وفي معناه آثار كثيرة- أن خيرية ليلة القدر؛ راجعة إلى تفضيل الطاعة فيها، والعمل الصالح على غيرها من الليالي والأيام". (آثار ابن باديس: ٢/ ٣٢٣)
وأخرج ابن جرير، عن عمرو بن قيس الملائي، في قوله: "ليلة القدر خير من ألف شهر". قال: عمل فيها، خير من عمل في ألف شهر). (الدر المنثور: ٨/ ٥٦٨) .
