⚙️ Imagine doing something for 10 years. Every single day. Whether it is running, solving a coding problem, building a relationship with people, or whatever it is. You practice it every single day. You do it good or bad, you succeed or fail, none of them matters. You practice it every single day. You learn something new every single day. For 10 years.
📈 Most likely, at the end of the period, you will be better than 99% of people at what you have been doing for the last 10 years. You will not be the number one, but you will be respected (or get paid) for how you do it.
🎸 One of my closest friends, picked up a guitar for the first time around 7 years ago. He didn’t even know how to hold the guitar properly back then. But he spent at least 15-20 minutes up to few hours every day practicing different chords and songs. Day by day, he got better and better. Today, he does not release songs or fill the stadiums with fans. However, when he starts playing, people stop their conversations and focus on the beautiful music.
🗑 Unfortunately, though, most of the people I know started spending at least few hours every single day on consuming “garbage” content that they will forget in less than 3 minutes. And unfortunately, it may continue for the 10 years to come. These people may reach excellence in memes and funny videos at most. Or become a producer of such content at worst.
❓The question is, What are you doing for the next 10 years?
