《香港01》致電立法會環境事務委員會主席、民建聯立法會議員劉國勳，他稱就個人意見而言，最近先行先試計劃浮現很多問題，8月1日實在難以全面實施垃圾徵費。

工聯會立法會議員、環境事務委員會委員郭偉强稱，押後與否屬政府決定，但他認為不適宜操之過急，同時指出先行先試計劃的試點太少，表示若要在全港推廣計劃，就應全港市民共同參與先行先試，否則市民難以適應。
