Certain actors make these silly statements as well about my faith, Vajrayana Buddhism.

"The Phurba is Bรถnpo in origin!!!!"

"Vajrakilaya is a shamanic spirit in origin!!!"

Ok sure, some of these things might trace their origin to the Bรถn religion. But they have been transformed to act as vehicles for supreme awakening instead of just accomplishing worldly ends.

They have been fundamentally transformed for Buddhist ends.

My opinion regarding Paganism has changed quite a bit. In its current state it suffers from being fragmentary, having illegitimate authorities, individualism and more.

Stay tuned!

Do not mourn the dead. Mourn the living who still believe they are alive.

Even in the darkest places, we claim our right to act. There are no forbidden lands, no lost causes, no irredeemable beings.

Btw, why are RW pagans having an issue with Platonism? This is some infiltration bs conflict to cause division.

There are no issues to be found, all European faiths are valid.

(In extension Egyptian, Vedic, Aztec-Maya religion etc)

As promised, I would elaborate on my thoughts regarding the subject of Paganism.

I know what you think, I think that way too. A lot of reconstructionist efforts are goofy asf and let their understanding of the ancient religions be influenced by contemporary ideologies, individualist mindset and abrahamism as their reference for understanding religion.

However, fractured as it may be. Paganism can have a future should a solid group of people gather and revitalise what is left, paganism now shouldn't be reenactment of the iron age or the mediterranean bronze age etc.

Now to the main point, yes, paganism is a materialistic form of religion. We are however material bodies, in a material world with material needs. And very few have the karma to pursue a path that transcends religiosity that is concerned with making good material conditions, or elevating such in their view as supreme.

No, I don't believe paganism to be an appropriate vehicle for enlightenment. Spiritual insight and realizations? Sure, but that is not synonymous with supreme awakening.

This is just a matter of perspective however, as I'm first and foremost a Buddhist; I will put the doctrine, the Buddhas and all of those gone to bliss on the top of my hierarchy.

A friendly reminder to keep your practice of spirituality, regardless of wherever you may find yourself in life at this point and later.

Through the good and bad, prosperity and despair. Dont forget your sacred commitment to the divine, prayer, offerings and contemplation will carry you through.
