می‌شود گفت که واقعیت جهان و روابط انسانی نه سیاه و سفیدند، نه تصادفی. مثل منطق فازی، در طیفی از احتمال، شدت، و معنا جریان دارند. در این نگاه، ما آدم‌ها نه صرفاً علت مشکلات یا برکت‌های همدیگریم، بلکه گره‌هایی در شبکه‌ای از هم‌وابستگی هستیم.

و وقتی تئوری انتخاب گلاسر را وارد این پازل کنیم، معنا کامل‌تر می‌شود:
ما رفتارهایمان را انتخاب می‌کنیم تا نیازهای درونی‌مان (عشق، آزادی، قدرت، بقا، و تفریح) را ارضا کنیم. اگر بتوانیم با empathy — همان حس همدلی نگاه کنیم، متوجه می‌شویم که حتی رفتارهای آزاردهنده‌ی دیگران هم تلاشی ناخودآگاه برای پاسخ به نیازی درونی است.

جامعه ای که نسبت آماری بالای ۸۰ درصد به همدیگر اعتماد ندارند .
در جامعه های دیگر اکثر دوستان و شرکای تجاری از همکاران همدیگه تشکیل شده .
از جاوا گرفته تا اپل و ...

جامعه‌ای که سرمایه‌ی اجتماعی‌اش فرو ریخته، هر چقدر هم از نظر فناوری، آموزش یا منابع رشد کند، باز هم در سطحی از بی‌اعتمادی و ترس درجا می‌زند.

در واقع در جوامعی مثل سیلیکون‌ولی، استکهلم، یا حتی توکیو — اکوسیستم‌ها بر پایه‌ی اعتماد، همکاری و شبکه‌سازی سالم شکل گرفته‌اند. بسیاری از شرکت‌های بزرگ از دل دوستی‌ها و همکاری‌های صادقانه بین افراد متخصص بیرون آمده‌اند.

اما در جامعه‌ای که بی‌اعتمادی به قاعده تبدیل شود:

تعاون جای خود را به رقابت ناسالم می‌دهد.

مشارکت تبدیل به سوءظن می‌شود.

و توسعه جای خود را به بقا می‌سپارد.


اعتماد در جامعه مثل کرنل در سیستم‌عامله اگر آسیب ببیند، تمام لایه‌های بالاتر (اقتصاد، فرهنگ، علم، حتی اخلاق) ناپایدار می‌شوند.

آیروزل (Aerogel) ماده‌ای جامد و فوق‌العاده سبک است که بیش از ۹۹ درصد آن را هوا تشکیل می‌دهد. این ماده به دلیل ساختار متخلخل منحصر به فرد خود، خواص شگفت‌انگیزی دارد:

ویژگی‌های کلیدی آیروزل:

* سبکی فوق‌العاده: آیروزل یکی از سبک‌ترین مواد جامد شناخته شده است. دانسیته آن به قدری پایین است که می‌توان آن را روی یک گلبرگ یا حتی سبیل قرار داد بدون اینکه آن را خم کند.
* عایق حرارتی عالی: به دلیل وجود حجم زیاد هوا در ساختار خود، آیروزل یک عایق حرارتی بسیار کارآمد است. این ماده می‌تواند دماهای بسیار بالا و بسیار پایین را تحمل کند و انتقال حرارت از طریق آن بسیار ناچیز است.
* شفافیت (در برخی انواع): برخی از انواع آیروزل، به خصوص آنهایی که از سیلیس ساخته شده‌اند، شفاف هستند و نور را از خود عبور می‌دهند.
* مقاومت مکانیکی: با وجود سبکی، آیروزل استحکام فشاری قابل توجهی دارد.
* قابلیت جذب بالا: ساختار متخلخل آن باعث می‌شود تا بتواند مقادیر زیادی از مایعات و گازها را جذب کند.

به دلیل خواص منحصر به فرد، آیروزل کاربردهای فراوانی در صنایع مختلف دارد:

* عایق‌بندی: در صنایع هوافضا، ساختمان‌سازی، لباس‌های فضانوردی، و ساخت لوازم خانگی برای عایق‌بندی حرارتی.
* ذخیره‌سازی انرژی: به عنوان ماده‌ای برای جذب و نگهداری گاز هیدروژن یا متان.
* فیلتراسیون: برای تصفیه هوا و جداسازی ذرات ریز.
* تولید مواد نانو: به عنوان بستری برای رشد نانومواد.
* صنایع پزشکی: در ساخت دارو رسان‌ها و ایمپلنت‌ها.
* کاربردهای نظامی: برای ساخت کلاهک‌های سبک و مقاوم.

تولید:

آیروزل معمولاً از طریق فرآیند خشک کردن فوق بحرانی (supercritical drying) یا خشک کردن انجمادی (freeze-drying) ساخته می‌شود. در این فرآیند، مایع موجود در ساختار ژل به آرامی تبخیر می‌شود تا از فروپاشی شبکه جامد جلوگیری شود.
