Один из крупнейших австралийских банков, Macquarie Bank, на прошлой неделе сообщил клиентам, что в этом году намерен полностью отказаться от наличных денег.
В банке добавили, что те клиенты, которые откажутся использовать цифровые деньги, "потеряют всё".
Клиенты Macquarie смогут снимать бумажные деньги со своих счетов только в банкоматах, принадлежащих другим банкам. При этом снятие средств будет ограничено 2000 австралийскими долларами в день.
