Last week, pop up gallery Barter concept, with the support of Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona, held a charity exhibition in the heart of Catalonia. We participated with Metamorphoses.
Reial Cercle Artístic was founded at the end of the 19th century to promote Catalan culture. You experience incredible emotions, and sensations, when exhibiting your art in your favorite Gothic quarter. Moreover, you are in the architectural gem of the 16th century - the Palau Pignatelli i la Casa Bassols palace. After all, this historical place has literally been saturated with creative energy for a century and a half!
The exhibition was dedicated to International Women's Day, and to all women creators, whose works have received undeservedly little attention throughout history.
The Concept2048 duo is virtually lucky - not only can we participate in diverse events, but in our works we combine the masculine and feminine, filling them with a unique synthesis of views and experiences.
All proceeds from the exhibition were transferred to Casa Ronald McDonald.

If there is no understanding viewer, no reader, then any object of art, the same book, is just a physical object.

In less than a month, the Personal Structures exhibition will open simultaneously with the Venice Biennale. It is organized by the European Cultural Centre.
Beyond Boundaries already the seventh festival of contemporary art. The exhibition expands the boundaries of perception, cultures, genders, languages, and ideas about life itself.
Its main ideas will be the issues that concern the modern world: climate change, research, education, and sustainable development.

Whisper of the Sea
Have you ever wondered why the sound of the sea is so soothing? Why is it so easy to think to the music of the waves?
Mystical AquaSouls, living in the depths of the waters, share with us the wisdom that they have saved throughout the history of the Earth as well as the living beings who inhabited it. The wisdom they encoded in their DNA.
More recently, AquaSouls has been sharing their knowledge with people without obstacles, passing on the experience of generations to them, reminding them that humanity is only part of a Great Natural Symphony.
Human greed, and the noise of their endless unnecessary worries, led to the fact that humanity stopped appreciating what it has, built a huge wall between itself and mythical creatures, and started the cycle of its destruction.
... In search of empathy, AquaSouls continues to reach out to people, appealing to their Souls, loving and begging for sympathy, before the Great Ocean envelops a Person with its wet embrace, erasing the scars of his past, cleansing his essence and the Earth.
To be continued...

When Forms Come Alive
A month ago, I was lucky enough to visit an exhibition that still has a pleasant aftertaste in my mind.
When Forms Come Alive takes place at the Hayward Gallery in London.
I must say, right away, if there is an opportunity, be sure to visit! It will be open until May 6. There's still time!
This exhibition covers more than 60 years of contemporary sculpture, and works by 21 artists. All inspired by movement, fluidity and growth.
Once in the halls of the gallery, you involuntarily ask yourself: "What’s going on here?” and then you do not notice how you are plunged into it with your head, examining its details and, sometimes, your reflection in them. And you, echoing the exhibition, flow from one object to another, losing track of time, and getting lost in space.
The shape is my favorite characteristic. And here it is served with special vivacity and unpredictability.
There are no rigid geometric shapes, there is nothing bronze-marble-motionless-boring. The materials are striking in their surprise - wax, foil, paper, soap foam are just a few examples of what a sculpture can be made from. The shape changes, transforms, flutters and rustles, flows from one to another when the angle of view changes, and the viewer can follow this transformation by slowly moving through the halls.
All sculptures are filled with life, they penetrate through and beyond the senses.
I also adore the classics, but this sculpture in a new reading turned my head. I’m incredibly delighted, which I wish for you, too!

The surrealist of the design world
A provocateur, an enemy of right angles and grids, an obnoxious child - this was the name of Gaetano Pesce, an Italian designer, architect, and teacher.
His works, so vivid and sunny, have long been classics. And the UP5 armchair is one of the design icons that many artists, including us, have used for inspiration.
Visit his page - it's a whole engaging world of extraordinary shapes, combinations of colors, and textures!
Gaetano Pesce has been creating rare beauty for 60 years. It was as if he had come from another dimension, into which he had gone on April 4...

Homo Universalis
Artist, sculptor, scientist, engineer, mathematician, writer, composer, anatomist, tanner, architect, naturalist, organizer of palace festivities... The son of a simple peasant woman, he could literally do anything. And he was brilliant in almost everything.
On April 15, 1452, the great Leonardo was born.
