UPDATE: In less than 24 hours, /r/SwitchHacks will be going private indefinitely.
Hello everyone,Like many other subreddits, we want to update our community on our intentions to make /r/SwitchHacks private within the next 24 hours. This post is an edited x-post used by several subs in protest of the recent changes to Reddit and the CEO's repeated libeling and lies of and towards third party app developers like Apollo's developer.This was not an easy decision to make, given a variety of factors, but it's one we feel comfortable making. Anything posted before tomorrow, June 12th, will be the final front page of our community before we privatize the subreddit entirely. In the (somewhat unlikely) scenario that Reddit's leadership has a change of direction that sees the reversal the recent API policy change, we will reopen the subreddit, but until this happens, /r/SwitchHacks will be unavailable for use in any capacity whatsoever. Many other subreddits are doing the same, and we stand with them.
