يستحب الإكثار من الصيام في شهر محرم . ◽عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفْضَلُ الصِّيَامِ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ شَهْرُ اللَّهِ الْمُحَرَّمُ . رواه مسلم (١١٦٣) .
غدا يوم ترفع فيه الأعمال لله تعالى . عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : تُعرض الأعمال يوم الإثنين والخميس ، فأحب أن يعرض عملي وأنا صائم . رواه الترمذي (٧٤٧)، وصححه الألباني في "صحيح الترغيب" (١٠٤١) .
