ترجمه: «اسامه بن زید ب می‌گوید: رسول الله ﷺ هنگام بازگشت از عرفات، وقتی به محل شعب رسید، قضای حاجت نمود و وضو گرفت، اما نه بطوركامل. اسامه می‌گوید: من عرض كردم: ای رسول خدا ﷺ! وقت نماز فرا رسیده است. رسول الله ﷺ فرمود:«نماز را جلوتر خواهیم خواند»، (یعنی در مزدلفه) ـ وقتی به مزدلفه رسید، پیاده شد و وضوی كامل گرفت و نماز مغرب را خواند و بعد هر شخص، شترش را در محل مناسبی خواباند. سپس، نماز عشا اقامه گردید بدون اینكه میان آن دو (مغرب وعشاء) نماز دیگری بخوانند.
