باب (9): ايمان وعمل صالح، قبل از جهاد

1204- «عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ رَضِیَ اَللهُ عَن‍‍‍‍ْهُ قال: أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَجُلٌ مُقَنَّعٌ بِالْحَدِيدِ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أُقَاتِلُ أَوْ أُسْلِمُ؟ قَالَ: «أَسْلِمْ ثُمَّ قَاتِلْ». فَأَسْلَمَ ثُمَّ قَاتَلَ فَقُتِلَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : «عَمِلَ قَلِيلاً وَأُجِرَ كَثِيرًا»». (بخارى: 2808)

ترجمه: «براء رَضِیَ اَللهُ عَن‍‍‍‍ْهُ می‌گوید: مردی زره پوش نزد نبی اكرم ﷺ آمد و گفت: یا رسول الله! به جهاد بروم یا مسلمان شوم؟ آنحضرت ﷺ فرمود: مسلمان شو. آنگاه جهاد كن». لذا، آن مرد، مسلمان شد. سپس جهاد كرد و كشته شد. رسول خدا ﷺ فرمود: «عملی اندک انجام داد ولی پاداشی بزرگ، دریافت كرد»».
