كتاب احكام روزه باب (7): پيامبر ﷺ فرمود: «با ديدن هلال ماه، روزه بگيرد و با ديدن هلال، عيد نماييد»
921- «عَنْ عبدالله بن عمر رَضِیَ اَللهُ عَن‍‍‍‍ْهُمَا أَنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قَالَ: «الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ لَيْلَةً فَلا تَصُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْهُ فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ ثَلاثِينَ»». (بخارى: 1907)
ترجمه: «عبد الله بن عمر رَضِیَ اَللهُ عَن‍‍‍‍ْهُمَا می‌گوید: رسول الله ﷺ فرمود: «ماه، بیست ونه شب است. تا هلال ماه را ندیده‌اید، روزه نگیرید. و اگر هوا، ابری بود ونتوانستید آنرا ببینید، سی روز را كامل كنید»».
