ترجمه: «روایت است كه عمر فاروق رَضي اللَّه عنه كنار حجرالاسود آمد و آن را بوسید و فرمود: بخوبی میدانم كه تو سنگی بیش نیستی و نمی‌توانی نفع و ضرر برسانی. اگر نمی‌دیدم كه رسول الله ﷺ تو را می‌بوسید، تو را نمیبوسیدم».
