ترجمه: «ابن عباس رَضِیَ اَللهُ عَن‍‍‍‍ْهُمَا می‌گوید: رسول الله ﷺ مُردار گوسفندی را ـ كه قبلا آن گوسفند، به كنیز آزاد شده میمونه رَضي اللَّه عنها (همسر رسول خدا ﷺ ) صدقه شده بود ـ دید و فرمود: «چرا از پوست آن، استفاده نكردید»؟ گفتند: یا رسول الله! این گوسفند، مرده و حرام شده است. رسول الله ﷺ فرمود: «گوشت آن، حرام است». (یعنی استفاده از پوستش، اشكالی ندارد)».
