ترجمه: «عمر رَضِیَ اَللهُ عَن‍‍‍‍ْهُ می‌گوید: اسبم را در راه خدا، به كسی صدقه دادم. او به وضع آن رسیدگی نمی‌كرد. گمان كردم كه می‌خواهد آن را با قیمت ارزان بفروشد، خواستم آن را بخرم. در این باره از رسول الله ﷺ پرسیدم. آنحضرت ﷺ فرمود: «آن را خریداری مكن. و صدقه ات را پس مگیر اگر چه آنرا به یک درهم به تو بفروشد. زیرا كسی كه صدقه‌اش را پس بگیرد، مانند كسی است كه استفراغ كند و دوباره آن را بخورد»».
