ترجمه: «عمار بن یاسر رَضِیَ اَللهُ عَن‍‍‍‍ْهُمَا می‌گوید: خطاب به عمر رَضِیَ اَللهُ عَن‍‍‍‍ْهُ گفتم: به یاد نداری كه من و تو هر دو در مسافرت بودیم (و بعلت فرارسیدن وقت نماز و نبودن آب) تو نماز نخواندی و من در خاک غلطیدم و نماز خواندم و این جریان را به سمع (مبارک) رسول الله ﷺ رسانیدم. آنحضرت ﷺ فرمود: «اگر اینگونه عمل می‌كردی، برایت كافی بود».سپس، رسول خداﷺ دستهایش را بر زمین زد و آنها را فوت كرد و چهره و دستها را مسح نمود؟».
