📍Труднодоступная Софийская церковь в исчезнувшей деревне Новосёлки, затерянной в глуши Тверской области, была построена по инициативе купца Юрия Степановича Нечаева в 1898 году по проекту 1894 года, опубликованного в журнале "Зодчий", автором которого был Леонтий Бенуа.

Это одна из первых церквей в неорусском стиле, переосмысляющем традиции новгородской архитектуры, появившаяся ещё до опытов Шехтеля, Щусева и других.
