امروزه با پدیده‌ی جدیدی مواجهیم که در آن با استفاده از اعتبار و نام یک دانشگاه یا ژورنال علمی، مطلب و محتوایی را «علمی» و «معتبر» می‌نامیم. مقاله‌فروشی شاید در ایران پدیده‌ای آشنا باشد، اما تقلب علمی و محتوای نامعتبر و نادرست، تنها به ایران و کشور های درحال توسعه محدود نمی‌شود؛ بلکه در بهترین ژورنال‌های علمی نیز می‌توان رد پای آن را دید. عمق این فاجعه چقدر است؟ چه طیفی از مطالعات و رشته‌های دانشگاهی را شامل می‌شود؟ واکنش جامعه علمی به چنین ایرادی چگونه بوده است؟

His channel was said to have contained around 120 messages and photos that incited others to vandalise pro-government shops and commit criminal damage targeting police stations. With the administration mulling over limiting access to doxxing groups, a prominent Telegram doxxing group apparently went on a "revenge spree."
