ومن أعظم ما يُنتفع به من عوامل الثبات على الدين : عدم التعرض للفتن ، والسعي في توقّيها بالبعد عنها وعن أسبابها ، فيصفو الحال للقلب ، فيتذوق طعم الإيمان ، وقد جاء في حديث الدجال قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم : (مَنْ سَمِعَ بِالدَّجَّالِ فَلْيَنْأَ عَنْهُ ، فَوَاللَّهِ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَأْتِيهِ وَهُوَ يَحْسِبُ أَنَّهُ مُؤْمِنٌ فَيَتَّبِعُهُ مِمَّا يَبْعَثُ بِهِ مِنْ الشُّبُهَاتِ) رواه أبو داود (4319) وصححه الألباني في "صحيح أبي داود" .
