How to stop Phone Link screen mirror from popping up?
Phone Link shows me 'notifications' from my phone. Some notifications are "approval" requests from banks and such. I used to be able to click "approve" directly in Phone Link, and I was good to go.
But something has changed. Now when I click "approve" a pop-up appears telling me to "Unlock my device" so it can display my phone screen. This is annoying and does not work for me.
How can I prevent that screen mirror popup from appearing when I click on a notification?

Besides PC Manager - What else do you use to secure your W11 Box?
...I mean programs, not web browser plugins....
Genuinely curious as I have been through every AV and computer malware program and decided to NOT install anything else but PC Manager.
What are you guys running?

Looking for CIS Benchmark v4 Script for Windows 11 Pro Standalone Machine Hardening Help?
Hey folks,
I'm trying to harden a few standalone Windows 11 Pro machines (not joined to a domain), and I want to follow the CIS Benchmark v4.0 as closely as possible. Iโve gone through the official CIS docs, but applying everything manually via GPO or local settings is super time-consuming.
Has anyone here already built or used a working PowerShell script (or any kind of automation) that aligns with the CIS Windows 11 Pro v4 guidelines? Even partial implementations would help a lot I can tweak or build on top of it.
Iโm mainly looking for:
PowerShell scripts to apply local security policies
Registry tweaks based on CIS controls
Any open-source tools or GitHub repos you trust
Tips on what not to enable (e.g., settings that break usability or cause weird bugs)
This is for a personal project / lab environment, but I'd still like to stick as close to the benchmark as possible. If youโve done something similar or have good resources, I'd really appreciate your help!
Thanks in advance

How much unused space you need to update to Windows 11 ?
My C drive is 145 GB big, and I have free around \~20 GB on that drive. Is this enough for Windows 11 to be installed without an issue ? (additionally I have 3 more drives with extra space in case that they can somehow be used as a temporary space during the upgrade)

Want to make sure Fast Startup is disabled
On my friend's Win 11 PC, I want to 100% ensure that Fast Startup is disabled.....i.e., I want to make sure that fully shutting down and then later turning on is effectively the same as rebooting.
She doesn't require hibernation so to simplify her environment I must have previously run:
powercfg -h off
because in Control Panel ("Change what the power buttons do"...etc), there is no "Turn on Fast Startup" showing up.
Does this definitely mean that Fast Startup is disabled? I'm pretty sure the answer is yes since I believe Fast Startup requires the ability to hibernate. Just looking to confirm this.
Thanks

Trigger to turn off caps lock on idle
Hello everyone, Iโm looking for help with a problem Iโve been having at work. My one coworker likes to leave caps lock active on a shared computer, and when anyone else goes to use it, they get pissed off that caps lock is turned on.
I would like to make this computer to turn off caps lock when it has been idle for more than 10 minutes, but I canโt quite figure out how to accomplish that. I understand very basic programming, but it seems any way to make this happen is out of my scope.
Is there any way to accomplish this? Please help.

Partiton disk to separate windows or not
I got a new laptop with single SSD drive. I installed windows 10.
Is it useful to create some partition so I can keep my file separated from windows installation?
I am thinking if I need to reinstall windows one day, then i can do it without loosing my files? Is this correct?
Any reasons not to partition drive?

Need guidance with new Windows license: Can't buy Windows 11
I have always had my Windows license as an OEM version with my desktop/laptop or got it free with my custom builds. Now I am trying to build a new desktop and, since I am changing my motherboard, I thought of purchasing a new Windows license. From what I read, if I change my motherboard, I need to get a new Windows license. However, I'm having trouble purchasing one. The website does not allow me to buy a new version. As far as I remember, I always had a Windows license with a pre-built desktop or a laptop or they gave it to me when I got a custom build in a shop (those were quite a while back). Does the OEM license transfer automatically? I do not think so. I have had multiple desktops/laptops linked to my email address/Microsoft account. They are just not allowing me to buy a new license.

The Windows Resiliency Initiative: Building resilience for a future-ready enterprise
Resilience isnโt optionalโitโs a strategic imperative. In todayโs threat landscape, organizations canโt afford to treat resilience as a reactive measure. It must be built into the foundation of how systems are designed, secured and managed
