Reason why I won't be upgrading to Windows 11.

Who else likes to maintain their Start menu? I seriously don't know why they removed this from windows 11, I think it looks really cool. Simplicity really is ruining everything. I won't be leaving windows 10 even after end of support.

What are these shortcut icon overlays?
And why should I care? Also, why are there some with an arrow, pointing to the upper right corner of a little square, while others are circles with a check? See image. What do they mean and why should I care they are there? I'm referring only to application shortcut icons, not file or folder icons.
Thanks!

Reverse-enginnering Feedback Hub Windows Store application or some leaked secrets from the app
Did anyone tried to reverse-enginner it (if possible) to extract webview URL that application uses to access feedback hub portal. If we can find out that secret, it would be possible with small changes to the result of post link (feedback-hub URI) to actually lead to the website version of feedback hub. It would probably look the same but it would have some errors since most resources are in app, not in the website. But still it would be accessible by browser on any device that gets logged in into Microsoft account to access Feedback Hub on the web instead of using Windows device to install and open application there. This also allows seamless access between devices on different platforms to check for updates on the topic and post from Feedback Hub.

FYI: Microsoft has updated their method of preventing file association choices
I had to reinstall Windows 11 recently and found that I was no longer able to choose my file extension program associations.
It turns out Microsoft has updated their method for preventing user choice, I found a blog about it here: UserChoiceLatest β Microsoftβs new protection for file type associations
I was using PS-SFTA to choose my file associations, as I could view and audit the source code myself. I don't want to open myself up to viruses just to choose my file associations.
There's also SetUserFTA, but I have no idea if this is a legitimate product. It says it has support for the new method.
Just a heads up for anyone else who may have banged their head into the same wall and was wondering what was going on.

How can I disable TLS 1.3 across all Windows apps?

Is there an app that lets me have my taskbar centred and the windows icon and search bar on the left?
This is how I had it for years on windows 10, and when I updated to windows 11 I used startallback to do the same but my trial has run out so I uninstalled it as every menu had a sad face and it constantly opened itself. Is there an app that can do this preferably for free

Users on Windows 11 Dev or Beta channels can enjoy Windows Vista boot sound. Good ol' days!!! :D
Sadly it is a bug and will be fixed in future builds.

Help with login and file structure mes
After years of not using Windows, I'm setting up three computers at home. It's a nightmare! One device wants a pin, one a password, one facial recognition. I keep having to scan damned QR codes and occasionally get asked for a freaking USB drive with a pass key, which I don't have and don't want. Please, tell me how to get past this mess! AND some files go to one drive and some go local and you can't tell which is which.
What I want is to turn on my computer, type in a pin and be done. I guess it would be nice to synchronize certain settings but not if it's so complicated. And I'd like to save files locally unless it's something I'd like shared. Like if the shared drive was just another folder I could choose, not the way it is now where it's like a completely different operating system. If I choose a new wallpaper in the office, I don't need that wallpaper on my laptop. But if I edit my resume, I want that in a shared folder I can open at work. And I certainly don't want to carry a thumb drive around just to get on Reddit. Thanks.

Didn't the 'Snipping Tool' allow you to screen record not that long ago?

I am pretty sure the Windows Snipping Tool allowed you to select still image screenshots or video screen recording.

^(EDIT [+1 min. later\] ;)
^(Now the program only allows still image screenshotting, no video capability.)
