Over the last few months, we’ve been involved with an educational initiative “AI for Earth Monitoring” created by EUMETSAT where they offer a 6 week online course hosted on FutureLearn, about machine learning using imagery datasets from Sentinel satellites. It starts October 18th, 2021 and is completely free! We got about 2k registrations so far, but would be happy if you could share about this course with your own community.

Don’t publish new content at nighttime. Since not all users disable notifications for the night, you risk inadvertently disturbing them. Among the requests, the Brazilian electoral Court wanted to know if they could obtain data on the origins of malicious content posted on the platform. According to the TSE, this would enable the authorities to track false content and identify the user responsible for publishing it in the first place. It’s easy to create a Telegram channel via desktop app or mobile app (for Android and iOS): Earlier, crypto enthusiasts had created a self-described “meme app” dubbed “gm” app wherein users would greet each other with “gm” or “good morning” messages. However, in September 2021, the gm app was down after a hacker reportedly gained access to the user data. As of Thursday, the SUCK Channel had 34,146 subscribers, with only one message dated August 28, 2020. It was an announcement stating that police had removed all posts on the channel because its content “contravenes the laws of Hong Kong.”
