To be honest, I believe Google will ultimately win the AI race. The reason is clear: the sheer scale of their resources and data is beyond imagination. One aspect I find particularly positive about Google is their development of AI tools aimed at deciphering animal communication. For instance, they are collaborating with researchers to understand dolphin language through a project called DolphinGemma . Additionally, initiatives like the Earth Species Project are utilizing large language models to decode various forms of animal communication .
Moreover, I've heard that Google is undertaking AI projects to revive ancient languages. Their DeepMind team developed models like Pythia and Ithaca, which assist in restoring and interpreting ancient Greek inscriptions . These developments are culturally enriching and, I believe, will contribute significantly to humanity.
They also introduced a mode in Gemini Live designed for the visually impaired. Of course, this feature isn't limited to visually impaired users—I tried it and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. However, to be honest, the free and unlimited version of Gemini can sometimes fall short in certain areas and may become repetitive. I use Google's most advanced model, Gemini 2.5 Pro, along with its image-generating capabilities via aistudio.google.com. Frankly, compared to OpenAI and other companies, I appreciate that developers offer such services and opportunities.
