It is hard to imagine that the main building of our university once housed a military hospital, the windows of the Chemical Building were taped crosswise with paper ribbons, and a two-metre shell crater gaped in the place of a cosy park alley.
In our hurry to go about our business, we pass by monuments, memorial plaques and rarely think about what they symbolise and what they can tell us about.
In our university there are many places connected with the Great Patriotic War.
What events took place here in those distant years? These questions are answered by the video blog ‘The Memory of Glory is Alive’ and its host Egor Bredikhin, a student of IMMiT SPbPU.
The first one is "Monument to Fallen Polytechnics"
