Stage fright and how to overcome it

Be prepared
More prepared, less stressed
A day before, banyangkan everything that will happen (literally EVERYTHING)
if this is for performance, bawak semua barang lebih (SEMUA). In case smtg happened for example ur baju koyak, you ada back up so u will be less stressed time ur performance.

Breath
When ur body tak cukup O², you akan start nervous/panic and can lead to stage panic where you'll terkaku atas pentas tu nanti.
Nervous and Panicking consume ur energy. so when u perasan ur breathing technique tak betul, take a sec untuk betulkan balik. [Take a deep breath, hold a sec, exhale slowly] be a nose breather.

Follow the flow
Jangan fikir "eh betul ke aku buat ni? Lepas ni kena buat apa? kalau salah macam mana? etc." Ikut je apa yg dah practice before. Focus on your presentation/show. Tak payah overthinking sangat nanti lagi panic.

The audience on your side
They don't know u buat salah ke, skrip terlajak sikit, tertinggal perkataan tu perkataan ni, step tu step ni. Ur performance/ presentation is a knew thing for them so they had no idea what's going on. Drg nak enjoy the show/presentation je.

Don't read notes while you presenting
Yk when u present smtg, obv you'll make eye contact (or lebih kurang la) with the Audience. but when u stop making eye contact with them, the momentum turun. The second you cut off eye contact with them, they'll turn off with ur presentation.

Do not memories the whole script
You can read the script before ur presentation but don't memories it from A-Z (Keluarkan isi penting and ingat).
If u depends on ur script, You'll be more stressed+ nervous. For example (s) u forgot thing(s) from the script (even tho it's not important) you'll start panicking sbb u lupa. lepas tu tercari ii point yg u baru cakap. then ur presentation pun 📉
