Ответ: у каждого актуального устройства Apple есть свой внутренний идентификатор модели. Например, у iPhone 16 — это iPhone17,3, а у самого первого iPhone идентификатор был iPhone1,1.
Из интересного: у Vision Pro — RealityDevice14,1. Причём эти номера не всегда логичны. Так, у AirPods 4 — два идентификатора: AirPods1,4 и AirPods3,2. А у версии с шумоподавлением — AirPods1,4 и AirPods3,3. Вот.
