📍 Why in Focus?
The CCEA approved ₹8,146.21 crore investment for the 700 MW Tato-II Hydroelectric Project in Shi Yomi district, Arunachal Pradesh.

📍 Key Highlights:
Capacity: 700 MW run-of-river project on Siyom River, with 4 turbines of 175 MW each.
Generation: Expected output of 2,738.06 million units annually; strengthens Arunachal’s power supply and balances national grid.
