- روى شيخنا الحميري -رح- بسند صحيح عن إمامنا أبي الحسن الكاظم -عليه السلام- أنه كتب لعلي بن سويد -رح-:

" إنّ أوَّلَ ما أُنهي إلَيكَ أنّي أنعى إلَيكَ نَفسي في لَيالِيَّ هذه غَيرَ جازِعٍ ولا نادِمٍ ولا شاكٍّ فيما هُوَ كائنٌ مِمّا قَضى اللهُ وحَتَم.

‏فاستَمسِك بِعُروَةِ الدّينِ: آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ -صَلَواتُ اللهِ عَلَيهِ وعَلَيهِم-، والعُروَةِ الوُثقى: الوَصِيِّ بَعدَ الوَصِيّ، والمُسالَمَةِ والرِّضَا بِما قالُوا. "
