1. Subject–Verb Agreement

💬 The verb must match the subject.

Correct: He goes to school.
Wrong: He go to school.

2. Tense Consistency

🕰 Don’t mix past and present in one sentence unless needed!

Correct: Yesterday, I watched a movie and ate popcorn.

– Every day, I wake up at 7 and go to work.



3. Articles (a, an, the)

🧠 Use a/an when talking about something general.
Use the when talking about something specific.

🔹 a – before consonant sounds: a cat, a book
🔹 an – before vowel sounds: an apple, an idea
🔹 the – when both speaker and listener know the thing: the sun, the teacher
