A Bachelor’s student in computer science and engineering at Lovely Professional University, Manish is currently exploring big data and ML at ITMO. What’s his day at the university like?
[It] starts with lectures and lab classes. Then, I spend time coding or working on projects. Evenings are often for exploring the city, trying out local food, or meeting other international students. Weekends are perfect for trips. One memorable experience was at Yagodnoe , where we camped in the forest, picked berries, cooked barbecue, and even visited the old station nearby. Those trips really help you bond with people and experience Russian nature in its purest form.

According to Forbes Education, we’re 8th nationwide and in the top 3 for St. Petersburg — a clear sign that employers trust and value ITMO graduates.
In total, the final list included 20 universities from five Russian cities — Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, and Tomsk — whose graduates employers consider the most qualified and employable.
