این آتش سوزی ساعت ۹:۲۶ به وقوع پیوست که با تلاش ماموران آتش نشانی اصفهان حریق به موقع اطفاء شد و از سرایت آتش به دیگر کارگاه های این مجموعه جلوگیری به عمل آمد. این حادثه تبعاتی در دانشگاه صنعتی اصفهان نداشته و علت وچگونگی حریق در دست بررسی است.
