ماه ۲۹ روز بوده، در گاه شمار خورشیدی آن زمان هر چهار سال یک روز اضافه بود که طی ۱۲۰ سال دقیقا یک ماه کامل ذخیره می شد که آن سال را بجای ۱۲ ماه ۱۳ ماه قرار می دادند و در ماه آخر هیچکس کار نمی کرد و همه به خرج شاهنشاهی به جشن و پایکوبی می پرداختند، به دلیل بزرگی و بی همتا بودن چنین جشنی در آن زمان، بین ده ها جشنی که ایرانیان برگزار می کردند، مردم همه برای هم دعا می کردند۱۲۰ ساله شوند و حداقل یک بار چنین جشن بزرگی را ببینند.
The month was 29 days,in the solar calendar at that time, there was an extra day every four years, which saved exactly one full month during 120 years, and that year was 13 months instead of 12 months, and no one worked in the last month. Everyone celebrated at the royal expense, because of the greatness and unparalleledness of such a celebration at that time, among dozens of celebrations held by Iranians, people all prayed for each other to be 120 years old, and at least once to see a great celebration.
