A group of rare disorders that occur in some people with cancer and are caused by substances produced by the tumor (such as hormones or cytokines) or the body's immune response to the tumor. This syndrome can affect the nervous system.

🧠Neuropathy:
نوروپاتی

Damage to the peripheral nerves (nerves outside the brain and spinal cord). Neuropathy can be caused by certain chemotherapy drugs and can lead to symptoms such as numbness, tingling, pain, and weakness.

🧠Tumor microenvironment (TME):
ریزمحیط

The cellular environment surrounding a tumor, including immune cells, blood vessels, and the extracellular matrix. The TME plays a significant role in the growth, survival, and metastasis of nervous system tumors.

🧠Immunotherapy:
ایمونوتراپی

A type of cancer treatment that uses the body's immune system to fight cancer. Immunotherapy is being investigated in the treatment of some nervous system cancers.
