معمولا در فیلم‌ها، تخم دایناسورها با اندازه‌هایی نسبتاً بزرگ نشان داده می‌شود؛ ولی آیا همیشه اینطور است؟🤔
جواب این سوال منفی است؛ به تازگی شش تخم دایناسور که هر کدام به اندازه‌ی یک حبه‌ی انگور بودند در جنوب چین پیدا شدند.🪺
این فسیل‌ها به طور کامل یافت شدند و کوچک‌ترین تخم‌های دایناسوری کاملی هستند که تا به حال یافت شده است.🦕
باستان‌شناسان با توجه به ویژگی‌های خاص این تخم‌ها؛ اندازه کوچک و ساختار منحصربه‌فرد پوسته، آن‌ها را متعلق به جنس و گونه‌ای جدید از دایناسورها به نام Minioolithus ganzhouensis، معرفی کردند.🪺
این دایناسورها تروپودهای کوچکی بودند که در اواخر دوران کرتاسه یعنی حدود 80 میلیون سال پیش در چین باستان می‌زیستند.🦖
این نتایج نشان‌دهنده‌ی تنوع دایناسورهایی است که میلیون‌ها سال پیش بر روی زمین قدم می‌گذاشتند.🌍
