عن أبي عبدالله (عليه السلام ) أنه قال : من تمام الصوم إعطاء الزكاة كما أن الصلاة على النبي من تمام الصلاة ومن صيام ولم يؤدها فلا صوم له إذا تركها متعمداً ، ومن صلى ولم يصل على النبي وترك ذلك متعمداً فلا صلاة له إن الله تعالى بدأ بها فقال : {قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ تَزَكَّىٰالْأَعْلَیٰ وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلَّىٰ } سورة الأعلى .
