قال ابن الجوزي:

واعلمُوا أنه ما من عبد مسلم أكثر الصلاة على محمد ﷺ إلا نوَّر الله قلبه، وغفر ذنبه، وشرح صدره، ويسر أمره، فأكثِروا من الصلاة لعَلَّ الله يجعلكم من أهلِ مِلَّته، ويستعملكم بِسُنَّتِه،ويجعله رفيقنا جميعا في جنَّتِه،فهو المُتفضِّل علينا برحمتِه.
