Global Game Jam site registration is officially open!
In 2024, we had 796 jam sites. We’d love to see even more in 2025. Site applications are available on our website. Once again, we are allowing for in-person, virtual, and hybrid sites.
Interested in organizing a site, but not sure where to start? We’ve created this helpful overview, whether you’re looking to organize a site for 2, 20 or 200 jammers.
GGJ fun facts: 37% of jam sites have 20 or fewer jammers. A jam site of 200 or more jammers would make you one of the top 20 largest jam sites.
GGJ 2025 will take place from 20-26 January 2025 with sites able to choose the 48 hours in that time period that works best for them and their community. We expect most sites to jam during the weekend of 24-26 January, but sites can operate any time during the week that works for them.
Jammer registration will open December 2.
