Good Frigg's Day.

Today I am thinking a lot about our connection with the Earth. Everything we see, "man-made" or not, finds its origins in the Earth. Our metal comes from caves. Our rubber comes from tree sap. Our granite is only rock. No matter how "lab-grown" something is advertised, whether building material or medicine or otherwise, trace its origins and you will find that humans cannot generate anything by themselves. Even the magnetic fields in our bodies connects to the magnetic field of the planet. How prideful, then, to claim what is given by Mother Earth for no fee as their own creation, and to require payment for it.

"No one owns the water.
No one owns the lands.
No one owns the oceans.
No one owns the sands.
These are given by our Mother.
Our planet provides for free.
Only by hands of the greedy
Does the Earth require a fee.”
