The administrator of a telegram group, "Suck Channel," was sentenced to six years and six months in prison for seven counts of incitement yesterday. For crypto enthusiasts, there was the โgmโ app, a self-described โmeme appโ which only allowed users to greet each other with โgm,โ or โgood morning,โ a common acronym thrown around on Crypto Twitter and Discord. But the gm app was shut down back in September after a hacker reportedly gained access to user data. The groupโs featured image is of a Pepe frog yelling, often referred to as the โREEEEEEEโ meme. Pepe the Frog was created back in 2005 by Matt Furie and has since become an internet symbol for meme culture and โdegenโ culture. Judge Hui described Ng as inciting others to โcommit a massacreโ with three posts teaching people to make โtoxic chlorine gas bombs,โ target police stations, police quarters and the cityโs metro stations.
