🇫🇮 Finland's Ministry of Defence has signed a €255 million Letter of Intent with Forcit Group for the procurement of TNT from a future production plant, to be established in Pori, Finland.

Forcit Group, a Finnish explosives company, will invest over €200 million to build the new facility. Finland's state owned private equity company, Tesi, is also negotiating their own investments into the project.

The LoI is for the procurement of TNT for the MoD's own requirements over a 10 year period, from 2028–2037.

Pori's position on the coast situates it well to export TNT to other customers as well, such as Nammo in Norway & Sweden. https://twitter.com/ColbyBadhwar/status/1790028080133677185#m
