Here's some light reading for you on this fine Wednesday!

Are NFTs all hype or is the demand real?

By the end of this year, you will all be able to give a TED talk on NFTs 😂😁

Here's the article! 🐧
Audemars Piguet this and Audemars Piguet that.. yes I get it, but hear me out 👀👀

Just imagine if a tourbillion came together with Marvel, they had one too many drinks, started gazing deeply into one another’s eyes, but then gathered themselves from their enamored stupor to say, “Let’s take this slow. I don’t want to rush whatever it is that’s happening right now”. ♥️

Time would go on. The seasons would pass. And then a most miraculous thing would happen; a brave little stork would spread its little stork wings and soar from Wakanda all the way to Le Brassus, Switzerland and the ROYAL OAK CONCEPT “BLACK PANTHER” FLYING TOURBILLON would be born.

Now imagine that that actually happened. Check out the time-piece HERE.
March LA. B and The Louvre Museum have come together to create something that doesn’t need to be held behind plexiglass surrounded by hoards of tourists; a time-piece that encompasses all the emblematic codes of the Louvre.

Goodies include:
-A gold face nodding to the the museum’s facades at dusk
-The inescapable pyramid, engraved on the back of the watch
-Glass architecture that responds to the gold of the Republic

Best of all - no ticket to Paris required. You can take a look at the watch HERE.
People doubted us when we said that we would build the leading digital platform for all valuable goods.

People doubted us when we said we would partner with the biggest brands in the luxury space.

But now, we have achieved a feat to which few can lay claim; we redesigned our website.

Was it easy? No. Did it take way too long? We’ll never say. Is it optimised for mobile? Heck yes.

We’ll put on our sunglasses now; the future’s too bright. 😎

Here's a bit of evening news that peeks ahead, towards the end of this warm summer...

Our member brand Thierry Mugler has scheduled its retrospective exhibition at the Paris Museum and is scheduled to run from September 30th through 2022.

“The exhibition, organized in several acts like a classic opera, thematically blends costumes, animated projections, photographs and music, creating varying atmospheres that personify the numerous projects Mugler has championed since the end of the 1970s,” the museum said in a statement.

And if I'm not mistaken, some of the prints by Karl Lagerfeld displayed in the photography section of the exhibition have recently been turned into NFTs...

If you're a fan of Thierry Mugler or fashion en général, this is definitely something to keep on your radar.
What? The news about the previous exhibition wasn't enough for you? You insatiable devils!

Here's another fun one with one of our partner members that is running through August 9th in London 👀🇬🇧

Vacheron Constantin is showing off all of its pretty vintage watches at the Les Collectionneurs exhibition on London's Bond Street as well as Harrods. Instead of following the classic model of "look and admire", you can actually purchase the time-pieces if you so desire.

Read about the exhibition HERE.
Fan of Swiss watchmaker MB&F?
Are you obsessed with balance wheels and do you lose sleep over the fact that they're usually hidden in the movement on the back of a watch?
Constantly in between Geneva and Dubai?

If so, following interview with MB&F's Maximilian Büsser might be just for you.

Now who's picking up the new LMX – the tenth-anniversary edition of the Legacy Machine? 😎
Tutorial on how to establish dominance in a hierarchy based on NFT art ownership in 6 easy steps:

1. Calmly join the conversation that’s likely about the latest Bored Ape drop or newly minted Zed Run horse.
2. Don’t avert eye contact if you have nothing to add to the dialogue. It shows weakness.
3. Ask if anybody has the time, but then remember that you’re wearing the limited edition Top Time Deus Breitling.
4. Also remember that’s it’s certified by Arianee and definitely mention that.
5. Then also remember the motorcycle you bought with the watch.
6. Deliver the following with a wry smile “Sorry mates, but I have to catch a few extra kilometres on the steed before the day’s end.” For added effect, pick up a toothpick during delivery (remember to prep toothpick).

Stay winning.
🗞 In case you missed it:

Jing Daily, the leading digital publication on luxury consumer trends in China, spoke with our captain Pierre-Nicolas about tangible steps brands can take to level up their green practices online.

With consumers increasingly concerned about the environment, it is more important than ever for brands to make good on their sustainability promises. However, some of their digital ventures aren’t as eco-friendly as they seem. 🧐

Let's gather round the fire and introduce ourselves, shall we? Except here's the twist - tell us what innovation means to you and what you do to INNOVATE.

It's the first day of Viva Tech, and we're curious about what the innovators in our community are up to today.

☀️Summer's here. Beach bod season is upon us. We're all wondering how to shed those last few pounds so the sun hits our obliques just right.

Some may say cut the carbs... Some may say to slowly incorporate exercise into your routine to get active and prevent injury... Some may even utter the words "intermittent fasting".

But why do all the above when you can just go all out in a triathlon? That’s right. They say the fastest way from point A to point Sexy is a straight line. And we all know that diets take far too long. But a grueling 113km race will certainly do the trick.

This is also probably why Breitling has released a special Ironman watch; to keep time of your first triathlon and more importantly, your prep for the playa.

Go get em! 😎
