قال أمير المؤمنين علي (عليه السَّلام): "إِنَّ الْأَمْرَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّهْيَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ لَا يُقَرِّبَانِ مِنْ أَجَلٍ وَلَا يُبْعِدَانِ‏¹ مِنْ رِزْقٍ، لَكِنْ يُضَاعِفَانِ الثَّوَابَ وَيُعْظِمَانِ الْأَجْرَ، وَأَفْضَلُ مِنْهُمَا كَلِمَةُ عَدْلٍ عِنْدَ إِمَامٍ جَائِرٍ²."
